These are a few pictures from their latest event in New York.
When Chandler is old enough, we are so there.

Thanks for putting this up, I had never heard of Surfers Healing before. I mentioned it to my wife, and she said, "Sure, I love Surfers Healing, I have a link to them on my web site, and you put it there!"
Sure enough, I had created her Resources page with a link to Surfers Healing and not even realized it!
So thanks for helping me find what was already under my nose...
Ginger, my son just participated in the Surfers Healing Event on Sandy Hook in NJ yesterday. It was incredible! He's only 3. I posted 2 pictures from his experience on my blog I started recently if you want to check them out. http://andrewandbriansmom@blogspot.com
Fabulous! What fun! My 6 year old son (PDD-NOS) would LOVE something like that - do you know if they ever hold camps on the west coast? I hope Chandler is able to have a go at it very soon!
We have an organization out here called M.A.R.E. (Mastering Abilities Riding Equines) that "Surfers Healing" reminds me of. They offer a therapeutic riding center that provides equine assisted programs to children and adults with physical and mental disabilities.

I remeber getting a huge smile on my face the first time I read about Surfers Healing. Thanks for the pics, which gave me a new smile for the day.

I think that they are based on the west coast but have events around the country.
Check out their web site.
