i just happened by your blog looking for "blessed are the meek" bits to use in a church publication. i was profoundly touched by that particular post. thank you so much for sharing your story, and your family's story. i wish i could cut, copy, and paste every word. it's one of those examples of meekness that we need to remember to keep in our hearts and behind our eyes. meekness is NOT weakness.
It was quite an amazing day. As good as Jenny and Jim's speeches were I have to say it was Robert Kennedy's speech that brought me to a near emotional wreck.
I find it amusing that the rally has only gotten the smallest blurbs where as the CDC's talking points got more of the screen time.
These photos are amazing. I don't know any one affected by Autism but with out the dedication of you and other parents, I'm worried that I soon might. Please keep fighting!
The last 2 pictures broke my heart. I know there was a lot of love there, and I wish that myself, my wife and my 3 children wish we could have been there.
wow. these are some of the best photos i've ever seen on the subject of autism. thanks so much for creating this permanent tribute to all the folks who came. -- dan olmsted
LOVE these photos. Ginger, can you contact me about using some of them with music for a youtube? Then they are permanently out there for the world to see.
I was so moved by these photos. It waw like being at the rally again. Thank you so much for posting. I can't wait to share them with my loved ones! Sarah
I love the picture of the Dad with the sign regarding our senate and the committee investigating baseball and steroids. I emailed that committee everyday during that investigation and told them to get off thier butts and take a good look at the CDC and the FDA. I dont care what grown up entertainment people do to their own bodies!! Investigate what is poisoning our kids
Thanks so much for posting these! We could not afford to go. I was flipping channels like crazy yesterday, but there was very little coverage. It means a lot to me to get to see it. We were there in spirit. Wonderful pictures!
These were amazing and simply Raw. I processed them with a box of kleenex because they were so moving. Thank you Ginger. I will forward to every one I know in Rhode Island.
WoW I wish I had been able to make it! Unfortunately our lives have been made so challenging because of my son's needs, such a trip is not possible at this time. Thanks to everyone who supported and worked so hard to represent us all!
Since the CDC location was limited to 500, I say we rotate and plan 500 people every Saturday until they listen. Seriously! I'd devote one weekend a month...or two.
Ginger, these are FANTASTIC, thank you sooo much for being there and taking such wonderful photos! I am "GREEN" with envy that I wasn't there! In hindsight, I should have run up my credit card and just WENT. The rally attendees are just amazing people and I'd be proud to call each of them my friends. Look how much Will Redwood has GROWN these last few years! Wow! Anyway, thanks!
I have a cousin autistic, she's 28 years old, living in Brazil, 'cause the treatment is better there than here (Paraguay) by chance I got a job in the only Autistic center here, is an Asociation without support from Government... seen the pics of the march and so, has been so... I can't find a word... a couple of them makes me cry...
and at the same time... I'm frightened! we haven't heard about the "side efects" of the vaccines... Is really refreshing that someone, someplace is fighting for those who can't... keep strong!
My daughter Sunny was there with photos of her 3-yr-old twins Luke (ASD) & Campbell (Autism). Thank you for a beautiful photo of her & Campbell! She was very moved by this event, and I stand in awe of her the other parents whose unconditional love and commitment to these special kids grows daily. thanks for sharing the photos!
Absolutely Brilliant Photo journey of the day. I was happy to see one of my signs made the cut. We stopped vaxing our daughter after learning more. I am using my big mouth to help all of those other parents that have no idea about the dangers of vaccines. I was moved to see all of the families affected by autism and vaccine damage. If that is not enough evidence than what is? God Bless you, your family and everyone on the road to recovery!
Hey girl, This is AMAZING!! YOU ARE INCREDIBLY AMAZING!! THANKS FOR EVERYTHING YOU DO...for keeping our concerns alive, for giving us and our children a voice, for giving faces to the otherwise faceless, for your unbelievable talent and willingness to share it....TRULY, THANKS FOR EVERYTHING!!

I am coming to terms with the fact that I have become horrible at responding to email. My workload has increased and although I mean to respond to all emails like I could in the old days, it just doesn't happen any more.
So I apologize in advance if you don't hear back from me, or if it takes two months to hear back from me. But please don't let my potential failure to respond discourage you from getting in touch. I love to hear from readers.

What a great picture! We were there but hiding under the trees for part of the rally. It was just a bit too hot for our children.
