Someone sent me some videos a month ago, claiming that children with autism love them. Today I opened them and it was two Animusic videos. The press kit included a page of feedback from ASD families about how much their child loved it, was soothed by it and even one that used it for a reward. By now you have probably come across this online from their first DVD:
Well they were not kidding. Chandler is enthralled and Webster is too. Also mommy. Also Webster's stuffed cat who is now dancing to it with Web's assistance.
They are so beautifully done. Wow. Herbie Hancock all grown up. Consider them fully endorsed by Adventures in Autism.

I agree! My son is at the high end of the spectrum and spent ages watching these videos on youtube over the last couple of years.
I wonder though if they are a fascination for all children?
We loved them ourselves - just that as adults after seeing them a few times we were satisfied.

Joined NAA and they sent one to us. I am such a dunce I hadn't opened it yet. I will now!
They have come home and have watched it every day after school. They are watching it right now even.
We bought the first DVD years ago and whenever we put it on all the kids gather to watch. Well worth the $20.
How does it help them?
I a creating a theory(Hell talking heads do it!)
Visualizing all that motion causing new connections in my boys brain!
My son has always loved these videos! We have Animusic 1 and 2 and I can't wait for more! My son was diagnosed with autism in 2005, and we've had the animusic videos since then. They are awesome
