The truth gets lost in the madness...LIVSPARENTShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16992662086465958685noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7771487.post-1321063327314516632007-04-28T22:21:00.000-04:002007-04-28T22:21:00.000-04:00Bill,We've been asking for better research for a l...Bill,

We've been asking for better research for a long time. The only way the CDC, IOM, etc will green-light such research is kicking and screaming. That means we might have to do a little kicking and screaming ourselves.Wade Rankinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12986780783735604000noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7771487.post-2037132330842208562007-04-28T12:53:00.000-04:002007-04-28T12:53:00.000-04:00Ms Dachel has once again made some really good poi...Ms Dachel has once again made some really good points, but as usual, has reached the same old boring conclusion.

Instead of focusing on the premises that there are potential issues with a gut brain connection, putting forth that their could be an environmental factors in autism and that there is a potential of children having trouble getting rid of heavy metals, she goes on her old tired diatribe. She winds up insulting everyone in the CDC as well as most all children and adults on the spectrum. Is this the way she expects to get people to rally around her cause?

Why not ask for better general research rather than asking the CDC for the equivalent of research into when they stopped beating their wives. Why not research into whether we have an increase in severity instead of blanketly proclaiming an epidemic without even mentioning ONCE the DSM criterea changes over the past 30 years that will easily account for 90 to 95% of the increases.

In short she makes an easy target for people to disprove her rantings. Get a better schpiel Ann...

BillLIVSPARENTShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16992662086465958685noreply@blogger.com
